Celebrity actor and director Moammar Rana hosted his birthday at The Indus Hospital, February 2016. Mr. Rana was uninformed of the hospital’s existence, but when he brought in a patient and offered to pay in full he was pleasantly surprised to find out the hospital operated at no cost to the ailing. The Hospital would be allotted an 80 Kanal area of land for a fully equipped Research hospital to be opened in Peshawar. KP Chief Minister Pervez Khatak arranged for an additional 20 Kanal to be dedicated to a fully fledged Neuro-Surgery department, making a total of 100 Kanal area of land. The CEO of the Indus Hospital Dr Abdul Bari Khan stated that a plan had already been drafted for the hospital and construction would begin as soon as allotted land

The ICON 2016, 3rd biennial conference, was a 2 day event held at the Karachi Marriot hotel from January 23rd to January 24th, 2016. The conference carried the tag line Quality care – a right, not a privilege. The conference was chaired by Professor Dr. Syed Kamran Ahmed, and Dr. M.
