On October 26, 2022, the Psychosocial Department at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) Korangi Campus hosted an event for all staff in commemoration of World Mental Health Day. The event included a host of interactive activities in line with the international 2022 theme “Make mental health for all a global priority.” The objective of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, discuss and create a better understanding of mental health problems, and guide healthcare professionals

The Emergency Department (ED) at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), Korangi Campus, is conducting a three-day course on Emergency Medicine Leadership (EML) from October 26-28, 2022. The second day of the course started off with a brief recap of the first day by Dr. Megan Rybarcyzk, University of Pennsylvania, followed by a series of discussions and interactive activities. →

Szymon Makuch, the Polish ultra-distance runner, after completing the 1000 kilometers approx. KarakoRUN2022 through the Hindukush, the Karakorum, and the Himalayas for pediatric cancer, traveled to Karachi to meet Indus Hospital & Health Network’s childhood cancer patients. →

Indus Hospital & Health Network’s (IHHN) infection control (IC) department celebrated “International Infection Control and Prevention Week 2022” to improve the IC knowledge and skills among IHHN Healthcare Workers (HCW), Housekeeping staff, and patients. Free-of-cost online and onsite awareness sessions were held from October 18 – 20, 2022. Certificates of completion were handed out to program attendees. →

As part of Indus Hospital & Health Network’s (IHHN) Karachi expansion project, a new Jamia Masjid is being constructed at IHHN, Korangi Campus. The grey structure of Jamia Masjid was recently completed marking the end of Phase 1 of the construction project. →
