A hip disarticulation prosthesis (HDP), also called an artificial full leg, is an artificial limb that replaces any amputated limb through the hip joint. It is utilized for amputations or congenital absences of the complete leg involving the foot, ankle, shin, and thigh at the hip joint level.

The HDP consists of several components that work together to replicate the movement and function of a natural hip joint. With proper fitting and therapy, an HDP allows patients to resume their daily activities (e.g. walking) independently.
