A knee-ankle-foot orthosis (KAFO), also known as full-leg support, is a device that supports the knee, ankle and foot in conditions like Polio paralysis, joint laxity, arthritis, fracture and muscle weakness.

The KAFO consists of a rigid frame that extends up the back of the leg, covering the knee joint and wrapping around the calf and foot. Various straps and adjustable components are incorporated to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. With proper fitting and therapy, a KAFO allows patients to resume their daily activities (e.g. walking) independently.
