A knee disarticulation prosthesis (KDP), also called a through-knee limb, is an artificial limb that replaces any amputated limb through the knee joint as a result of diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and trauma.

The KDP consists of a socket, pylon, knee joint, and foot, with the socket specially designed to distribute weight evenly across the residual limb. With proper fitting and therapy, a KDP allows patients to resume their daily activities (e.g. walking) independently.
