Government College University, Lahore awards Anwaar Ahmad Khan with honorary doctorate

The Government College University (GCU), Lahore, awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree to Anwaar Ahmad Khan, member of the Board of Directors of the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). It was presented to him in a ceremony on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, recognizing his outstanding services and generosity.

Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of the GCU, conferred the degree at the Governor House, Punjab.

About Anwaar Ahmad Khan

In addition to working with the IHHN, Anwaar Ahmad Khan is also the CEO of Ghani Value Glass Limited. It manufactures and sells glass containers and float glasses. It also manufactures and markets automobiles for silica sand, coal, and rock salt.

Anwaar Ahmad Khan serves in multiple executive roles on the board of prominent companies in Pakistan. He currently serves in the advisory council of the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Trust and the Indus Hospital & Health Network. His experience spans three decades in the corporate and industrial sectors.

Anwaar Ahmad Khan is a well-known philanthropist and works on social issues. Through his philanthropic efforts, Anwaar Ahmad Khan has helped the poor and vulnerable members of society. For example, the Ghani Institute of Technical and Islamic Education has helped educate youth under his leadership. In addition, the Lahore Institute of Health Sciences aims to provide high-end medical and health services and education to every community member.
