Global Health Directorate Changing Pakistan’s Healthcare Landscape

The Global Health Directorate (GHD) is one of the eight directorates within the Indus Health Network (IHN). GHD oversees public health programs across the country, including TB, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, surgical conditions, and mental health programs.

The Community Engagement Center focuses on strengthening and empowering the communities we work in. GHD manages more than 25 primary care clinics which function as Integrated Practice Units of public health programs. With over 1,300 employees, the organization’s efforts have impacted more than 1.8 million lives with its presence in 51 districts across Pakistan.

GHD is a major provider of public health services in Pakistan, with an annual operating budget of 20 million USD$. GHD is proud of all the work that it does, and will continue to improve access to quality healthcare, free of cost to patients and communities.
