Indus Hospital and Health Network becomes Quetta Gladiators’ CSR partner for 6th PSL

Karachi: A meeting was held at the Korangi Campus between Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) and Quetta Gladiators on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) between the two entities.

After signing the MoU, IHHN will become the Corporate Social Responsibility Partner of QG. Executive Director, Communication and Resource Development, IHHN, Syed Mashhood Rizvi and Hassan Omar, Director, Quetta Gladiators signed the contract to officiate the agreement.

Mashhood Rizvi thanked the Quetta Gladiators for joining hands with IHHN and said, “Sports has always played a pivotal role in binding the nation and supporting social causes. We are glad that PSL is taking place in Pakistan and an internationally reputed team – Quetta Gladiators – has chosen Indus as its CSR partner. Health and sports goes hand in hand and we hope that through this effort, Indus would receive people’s attention which would help us in furthering our mission.”

While signing the MoU, Hassan Omar appreciated the efforts of the Indus Hospital and Health Network for providing free and quality treatment to the deserving patients. He further said that this partnership is in line with the vision of the owners of Quetta Gladiators who support community development and welfare by helping causes like that of The Indus Hospital. He stated that Indus has been treating a good volume of patients hailing from Baluchistan, therefore, the support of Quetta Gladiators will further strengthen the cause of IHHN.

The Indus Hospital and Health Network is Pakistan’s largest private network of hospitals and primary care clinics providing free and quality healthcare to millions of its patients since 2007. The Network started functioning from a single hospital in Korangi and soon expanded its services throughout the country by entering into Public-Private Partnership with provincial governments of Sindh and Punjab.

Quetta Gladiators is a Pakistani professional T20 cricket franchise that competes in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team is based in Quetta, the provincial capital of Baluchistan, Pakistan. The franchise was established in 2015 as a result of the formation of the PSL by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

IHHN and Quetta Gladiators will collaborate with each other to benefit the underserved patients of the country who come to the hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers of IHHN to receive quality and free healthcare. During the meeting, the scope of the partnership was discussed and both parties shared a plan of action for the forthcoming PSL.
