Indus Hospital & Health Network Partners with Science Fuse

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) has teamed up with Science Fuse to nurture interest and understanding of science among children at its hospital-based school, Indus Kay Sitaray (IKS).

Science Fuse will be conducting science workshops for the children every month, introducing them to various scientific experiments and other quality-learning programs.

It’s not uncommon for children with cancer and other terminal illnesses to miss significant amounts of school while undergoing treatment. The Holistic Healthcare approach of the Pediatric Unit at Indus Hospital & Health Network ensures that children admitted at the hospital are not academically and socially disadvantaged. Indus Kay Sitaray imparts education following a unique curriculum.

The partnership with Science Fuse will allow the students of IKS to experience science in application rather than just reading it in books. It will help foster and develop their interest in science and build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Science Fuse is a social enterprise working to promote science education among young learners. They are working to change how science is perceived and communicated inside and outside classrooms in Pakistan for children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Science Fuse believes that developing scientific affinity and literacy is critical for the next generation, as they are growing up in an increasingly scientifically and technologically advanced world.
