Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) partnered with The Millennium Universal College / Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship (TMUC/MiTE) to further its noble mission of providing free-of-cost, quality healthcare to the people of Pakistan through its nationwide network of healthcare facilities. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, and Prof. Dr. Huma Baqai, Rector of TMUC/MiTE, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 22, 2023.
MiTE and TMUC are both institutes of higher education delivering quality educational programs, learning opportunities, teaching entrepreneurship, and talent. MiTE is a project of The Millennium Trust for Education and Entrepreneurship (TMTEE). The founders of the TMTEE also established The Millennium Universal College, the Transnational Higher Education Wing of The Millennium Education group.
MiTE is approved by the Government of Sindh and is recognized by both provincial and federal regulatory bodies (Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan. It is providing innovative graduate programs in Business Administration, Engineering and Computational Sciences, and Art and Design.
TMUC is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and is providing innovative undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, professional, skills, accounting, innovative sciences, fashion, design, media, and business education.
In partnership with IHHN, TMUC/MiTE will support IHHN in its fundraising efforts and will offer generous financial assistance to IHHN employees in fulfilling their children’s educational needs. Students of TMUC/MiTE will also be invited to join Indus Yaqeen – IHHN’s youth engagement program – and raise awareness and funds for IHHN and its various causes. In addition to this, IHHN will also conduct focused career counseling sessions with students to brief them about career opportunities available at the Network.
Addressing the students at The Millennium Universal College, Karachi, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, offered up the unique example of IHHN and urged them to dream big, work hard, and have faith in the Almighty (SWT) in all their future endeavors.
