The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Receives 12th Annual Fire Safety Award

The Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), Korangi Campus, was honored with the prestigious 12th Annual Fire Safety Award 2022 in the field of fire & safety for the second consecutive time. The award ceremony occurred on November 23, 2022, at Marriot Hotel Karachi. Mr. Kamran Khan Tessori, the Governor of Sindh, presented the award to IHHN, Korangi Campus.

Since September 2021, the Korangi Campus has been registered with the National Forum for Environment Health (NFEP) to ensure compliance with established safety regulations. In 2022, the validation of the Fire Safety Systems deployed at the Korangi campus was done by a dedicated team from the National Forum for Environment Health (NFEP) and the Fire Protection Industry of Pakistan (FPIP), who visited the campus and took a detailed tour.

Their visit comprised briefings, presentations with the Safety & Security Management and General Management Administration, record verifications, and on-ground validation of the fire safety equipment and systems.

At the award ceremony, the judging panel commended the Safety & Security team of Korangi Campus, IHHN’s higher management, and the concerned departments for their continuous hard work and dedication to upholding a safe and sound environment.
